Micah Richards
Getting the hump with seeing him on television/radio all the time.

Ubiquitous, loud, overly boisterous, never off the air, overly cheerful grinning fucking cunt.

Just tone it down a bit FFS.

IMO the 2 best commenters are Ally McCoist & Jonathan Pearce.

Onouha is one of the best out there at the pundit lark.

The guardian football pod is s always worth a listen - and heis one of the best of their contributors.

Re: Micah Richards
He can get annoying like some hyper kid but he doesn't pretend to be something he's not. He laughs about himself, admits to his own failures and although his analysis is biased and pretty bland, he isn't afraid to have a different opinion to another pundit and debate it.
I'd rather him than the dour Souness who just appears like a grumpy old man who doesn't want to be there.

Re: Micah Richards
How anyone can call someone like Graeme Souness a div is completely beyond me. The guy was a winner. Maybe not a manager, but he won so much in the game. He maybe isn't the best pundit, but he was a very successful footballer.

Re: Micah Richards
I genuinely like the guy. Yes, he does seem to be on every channel to do with football, but I like his attitude. He would make a great double act with Robbie Savage on Sky Super!!! Sunday.

Have access to all league and cup games so had quite a few Ex Hammers as co commentators…

Holland
Gale
Green
Upton
Good and mostly impartial

Re: Micah Richards
Efan Ekoku was pretty good for our game I was actually saying Kean was a bit unlucky to be sent off then Efan said he got exactly what he deserved then I saw the replay couldn't argue with him at all.

Re: Micah Richards
Richards is no worse than countless others in terms of "insights" IMHO. As mentioned by others, less of an ego to satisfy than most pundits / media types and even if a bit "forced" sometimes he has a laugh and attempts to be lighthearted and humble. And since humility is becoming such a rarity in many cultures these days he gets a thumbs up from me. A nice contrast to many people, across all walks of life, who have deep down insecurities / inadequacies that manifest themselves in traits such as, taking themselves too seriously, unwillingness to be wrong, admit mistakes and of course by being offended by everything and everyone in order to get attention. :-)

Nedum
Is brilliant,funny too.
Efan Ekoku is good to watch too when overseas.
Nedum should be seen more than Richards who is always heavily biased and full of his own ego.

Nedum Onouha came across as very knowledgable on match of the day, put Ian Wright in his place a couple of times too

Re: Micah Richards
It's almost impossible to watch a live game now without the spitter or that cunt McManaman commentating. McManaman isn't even a good co-commentator. Most of his contributions to a game are 'Yeah Fletch. You're right Fletch.' It's utterly ridiculous that ex Liverpool players are so all over coverage.

And they might think they are being unbiased, but they really aren't. it comes across clearly. One time Carragher refused to name a MOTM in a game Liverpool lost because he was sulking in the commentary box. Fucking pathetic and completely unprofessional.

Lee Trundle 1:46 Tue Apr 5
Re: Micah Richards
That pisses me off immensely also, martyboy. I think the SPITTER commentated on our game, and you get the sense he tries his best to be neutral but he's still a SPITTING scouser at the end of the day and that shows through.

Re: Micah Richards
Why keep having X Liverpool players commentating on Liverpool games? Cant understand a work the muppets say!!

Re: Micah Richards
Richards is all noise and energy, and absolutely no insight - like so many pundits.

Full of himself and obviously quite an ego, which is what halted his career. Shearer and Lineker obviously think he's a bit jumped up, considering he achieved so little (individually) despite his obvious talent as a youngster. But it went unfulfilled.

Richards gives the impression that we all think he was some sort of amazing player when the reality is that he 'won' medals as backup to Zabaleta in that Man City side awash with money. When he moved to Italy and then Villa, he was exposed as bang average at best at that point in his career.

I tell you who is 100 times better as a pundit than Richards: Nedum Onouha.

Clearly an extremely bright bloke, doesn't feel the needs to shout and holla his wy through any interview or commentary - just gives intelligent insight. Which is the job. You can tell Onouha is a smart guy without so much of an ego, because he's happy to let others talk and not shout over them. Yet when he speaks, he does so with some authority and the ability to put proper sentences together.

Can we have more of him and less of Richards, thanks.

'Offers nothing in terms of insight into the game.'.

Who the fuck does? Seriously, when was the last time a pundit said something where you thought 'oh yeah I didn't think about it like that,?

They are all fucking divs. I'm sure that at pundit school they just learn verbatim the same thing. 'he's given him the eyes,' 'the ball round the corner', 'he's been ever so clever there', 'he's used all his experience to draw the defender and there WAS contact' 'got between the lines' a little give and go', 'he's put his laces through it', 'that was a brilliant free-kick but the ball was always rising', 'he'll be ever so disappointed with that', have I missed anything out?

I'm SO glad that I go to the games so I don't have to listen to that bollocks.

So Richards is no better or worse than anyone else but at least he likes a laugh. I think he's alright

Offers nothing in terms of insight into the game. A definite beneficiary of the BLM bollocks we're still having to endure on a daily.

Sad to say but Carlton is shocking and when you think you have ex players like tony gale and cottee available it does make you wonder why they’re not used, becoming trans would probably allow them to walk in

"Thought that clip they showed of him jumping up and shouting for CITY during the Man U game while Roy Keane was sat next to him was unprofessional and disrespectful."

Didn't know about this.

Like him a lot more, now.
